Fictitious teaching company

Liberty Product Inc.

A fictitious company we built to help you learn inLOGIC in depth — follow along and configure it yourself, from a transaction-based plan all the way to complex free-form rules.

  1. 01 Part 1 — Meet the company and build a transaction-based plan.
  2. 02 Part 2 — Create a measurement-based plan that pays reps on the credits they earn.
  3. 03 Part 3 — Write the formulas that yield accurate credit amounts.
  4. 04 Part 4 — Tackle a deliberately complex scenario with free-form rule writing.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is Sales Performance Management (SPM)?
SPM software automates the calculation, tracking, and reporting of sales commissions and incentive compensation — replacing fragile, manual spreadsheets with an auditable system.
What are the system requirements?
inLOGIC is a web-based application — no installation or special hardware. It's continually tested on current browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge). All you need is a working browser and a stable internet connection.
How long does it take to implement inLOGIC?
It depends on the learning curve of whoever configures the system — but with inLOGIC's Simple Setting feature, it can take as little as 20 minutes.
Do we need to learn JavaScript to use inLOGIC?
No. inLOGIC uses a light scripting language for rules and conditions, but it's easy to pick up — a couple of demo videos is usually enough to get going.
How does inLOGIC handle complex plans?
Build measurements, plans, accelerators, and qualification or reversal conditions with spreadsheet-style formulas, across any organizational hierarchy.
Can we import our existing spreadsheet data?
Yes. inLOGIC is spreadsheet-friendly, with templates to import payees and transactions directly from Excel (.xls or .csv).
Do we need IT to make changes?
No. Your business users maintain the compensation logic themselves — changes take minutes, with no vendor tickets or change-fees.
What integrations are available?
Salesforce integration and an open API are available on Professional and Enterprise, alongside a self-serve payee portal.
What learning resources are available?
A How-To video series, a worked Case-Study series, a downloadable user guide, and more — available both inside the application and here on the website.
